1. Terms and conditions of use. Welcome to the official Fundación Banco Santander website. Fundación Banco Santander (hereinafter to be referred to as The Foundation), is responsable for the content and management of this website, and is registered at the Registro de Fundaciones of the Ministerio de Justicia as number 321, and located in Madrid, calle Serrano, 92.

Please read carefully the following general conditions. By using this website and any of its pages (hereinafter to be referred to as the “Site”) you are considered a User and you are fully accepting the Terms and Conditions contained in this notice.


Liability of Liability

The information and materials included in the Site have been obtained by The Foundation from sources that are considered to be reliable, however, although reasonable measures have been taken in order to ensure that all the information contained is correct, The Foundation makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness or correctness of the information provided and, consequently, it may no longer be up to date. The Foundation specifically declines any liability for errors or omissions concerning the information contained in this Site.
The Foundation reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or restrict the content of the Site, as well as the links or information obtained through the site, at our own discretion and without prior announcement.
The Foundation cannot be held liable for the activities or behaviour of its users. Nothing on this Site can be considered to be a guarantee regarding a user or third parties, in terms of the websites, products, services or any other content.
In no event shall The Foundation, its patrons, directors, employees or authorized personnel be held liable for any type of damage, loss, liabilities or expenses whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site, or from the information acquired or accessed via the same, or related to computer viruses, system failures or transmission errors or interruptions; with the use of the Site, both via direct connection or linked from another source, the User acknowledges the possibility of these events occurring.
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the Site any illegal or illicit content, computer viruses or messages which, in general, affect or violate the rights of the Foundation.
This Site contains links to third-party websites. The Foundation is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of such websites. Any use of a link or access to a third-party website is performed at the Users own risk. Consequently, The Foundation is not liable for any loss, claims or damage derived from the improper use of a link, or from the information contained in the same, including other links or websites, interruptions in the service or in the access, or attempts to use a link improperly, both when accessing the Foundation’s Site as well as accessing other Sites from the Foundation Site.
On occasion, this Site uses Cookies, which are small text files that are sent to your device when you visit a website and which collect the following information:
- The date and time of the last visit to the site.
- The design of the contents that the User selected upon the first visit to the Site.
- Safety elements related to controlling access to restricted areas.

All the names, designs and/or logos contained in the Site are registered trademarks. Any unauthorized use of the same may be penalized according to the current law. The intellectual property rights and the third-party trademarks are suitably highlighted and must be respected by all those accessing the Site. You may download, copy or print information from the Site for your own personal use only. No copying, reproducing, transmitting, modification or deletion of the information, content or warnings contained in this Site may be made without the explicit authorization in writing by the Fundación Banco Santander.
APPLICABLE LAW These general terms and conditions are subject to the interpretation of the Spanish Law.

2. Privacy Policy

1. Fundación Banco Santander has drafted a privacy policy regarding the collection and use of information for this website. In accordance with the Spanish Legislation on Data Protection (Ley Orgánica 15/1999 de Protección de Datos, December 13), personal data refers to “any information concerning identified or identifiable physical persons”.
The only personal information that The Foundation may access is information that the User voluntarily provides. The User is thus informed that in order to register for some of the services offered via our site, personal information will be requested. When the User is specifically requested to provide information and such information is not provided, the User will not be allowed access to or use of the corresponding services and contents. The voluntary information provided is gathered by the Foundation for the purpose stated in the Data Protection clause described below. 
In abiding with the current law, the Foundation has adopted reasonable technical and administrative measures to maintain the level of security required regarding the personal information treated. Furthermore, it has the available mechanisms in place to avoid as much as possible any non-authorized access, subtractions and illicit modifications or loss of data.
Nonetheless, if you publish personal information online that is accessible to the general public, it is possible that you may receive unsolicited messages from other people and that your information may be read or intercepted by others.
For the above reasons, maximal care is advised regarding this matter and the use of all the security tools available. The Foundation will not be liable for any subtractions, modifications or loss of illicit data.
According to the law, the User is entitled to access, rectify, cancel and oppose the processing of their personal information as contained in said files. These rights may be exercised via written request to the address specified in the Data Protection Clause below. Also, the authorization granted for the use of this information can be revoked, knowing that the Fundación Santander has the right to terminate the contract, existing operations or remove the personal information from the database, when this information is essential for the proper functioning of the same. The User may also modify the information that has been provided to The Foundation via the Site, as indicated on the corresponding pages.

3. Data Protection Clause

Your personal information, accessible by the Fundación Banco Santander, is incorporated to the corresponding Foundation file, authorizing the same to the treatment of data necessary for sending communications, publications and announcements.
These communications may be performed via email or any other equivalent means of communication.
You have the right to oppose, access, rectify and cancel you personal data in accordance with the law, and may exercise these rights by sending a written request, together with a copy of your DNI (national ID) to: Fundación Banco Santander, calle Serrano, 92, 28006 Madrid, understanding that the Fundación Banco Santander is responsible for the files, at the aforementioned address.
